Pre-the advent of the Breakfast stout, many would've been aghast at the combination of beer with breakfast flavours. Not so for Bamberg's resident smoking experts, they produce traditional Bavarian styles with a a bacon-esque twist. I know... stay with me. Start with the helles (the least smokey variant) and work your way up to the Maerzen.
