3 Fonteinen (Beersel) has a history, It was founded back in 1887 originally as just a blendary, then later as a traditional lambic producer. In 2009 there was a thermostat error and over 3000 bottles overheated and exploded. This set the brewery back for four years, however they were able to keep producing by blending lambic from their neighbours including Boon. They now have an amazing new site and are producing some of the best Gueuze & Kriek in all of the Pjottenland
